  • You’re experiencing a huge, life-altering change- like a divorce, becoming a caregiver, a big move, or receiving a diagnosis.

  • You’re ashamed of the way you’re behaving - this isn’t the person you know yourself to be.

  • You usually can handle what life throws at you, but this time feels different.

  • You feel numb or disconnected.

  • You’re lashing out and feel extremely agitated or resentful.

  • You don’t know who to talk to - you lost your support system or people in your life just can’t understand.

  • A part of you wants to push through and stay strong, while another part of you is resisting.

You don’t have to do this all on your own.

I am here to help.

Can you or your teenager relate?

A compassionate corner of the internet, just for you

You’ve been to therapy before, and felt like it was focused on everything that was “wrong” with you.

You’ve felt unable to make the changes you say you want to, and expect to be told by a therapist that you aren’t trying hard enough.

That’s not how I operate.

Rather than trying to fix you, my focus is on helping you to slow down, and truly connect with all of the differing, and sometimes competing, feelings inside. As an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapist, I believe that none of us are broken, but instead are like puzzles - made up of many “parts” in all shapes and sizes.

Together, we will help you to access curiosity and compassion for yourself as we explore the ways that you’ve been reacting to the pain you’re in. By developing a more loving and understanding connection to the parts of your inner world, you’ll be able to respond to the dilemmas and burdens being experienced with more ease and care, helping to create true healing and safety inside. You will leave therapy feeling more capable of “riding the waves” of life as they come, and able to lead your life with calm, centered clarity.
