Hi, I’m Jenna, your trauma-informed Therapist in Boca Raton!
You’ve been to therapy before, and felt like it was focused on everything that was “wrong” with you.
You’ve felt unable to make the changes you say you want to, and have been told you’re not motivated enough.
Or perhaps you’re afraid of being shamed or judged in therapy, so you’ve hesitated to ask for help.
That’s not how I operate as a therapist.
Rather than trying to fix you, my focus is on helping you to tap into your inner strength and intuition. I specialize in working with adults who are navigating painful chapters of life and are experiencing grief and traumatic responses.
I value vulnerability, playfulness and authenticity in the work I do with my clients. Our sessions will be collaborative and I will promote your empowerment and choice at each step of the way.

A non-pathologizing approach that helps us to understand our minds as being made up of numerous “parts” – like a team inside of you– all with the intention to help and protect you. We work together to unburden parts carrying wounds and extreme beliefs and help you to establish a sense of safety and security from within.

Focused on bringing awareness to and challenging irrational and unhelpful thoughts and beliefs. Therapy supports clients in developing skills to promote healthier responses to difficult or triggering situations.

This approach offers practical tools and useful techniques to promote the development of mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. Helpful for clients who feel easily overwhelmed, reactive or on edge.
